Today Stockton took us to the balloon festival. He had to plan an evening out for one of his scout requirements. Everyone had a great time. The girls got their face painted and the kids each got a balloon animal. They played on jumpy things and watched the hot air balloons inflate. We didn't wait in line to get a ride because it was too long! And they only took you up ten feet. Tomorrow they are balloon races and other such nonsense.
When we got home, I tied a super long string onto the balloons (not the balloon animals). Now, when they go to the top of the vaulted ceilings, it is no problem. Why didn't I think of this years ago?

ReplyDeleteI know! He was on the run. He was great though. He took such good care of Preston, and he was happy and pleasant the entire time - even when we were cut off in the balloon line.
