Last Day of Duding

It is SO cold in the morning! The air conditioner goes full blast, and we have no control over it. When Maysen woke up, the water in her water bottle was cold. Maysen said, "This proves it is as cold as a refrigerator!" It feels great the rest of the day, the mornings are the only problem.

After breakfast, we got some free time at the arena. Mike, Maysen and Stockton all rode horses. Stockton wanted to ride a sheep again, but he wasn't able to. Jorja wanted to ride a horse, but she didn't want anyone to watch her. Hmmm. Wonder where she gets that from? That seems like the exact reason I didn't want to ride a horse. That and they are smelly and itchy and an animal. Jorja and Preston both got to ride a horse away from the arena.

We then went and played games on the lawn. Mike and most of the adults played flag football. Jorja, Stockton, Preston and I played soccer. Maysen was the ref. Mike played volleyball with his family, and then we all played human foosball. That was pretty fun.

Maysen and I went on another horse ride. Mike was planning on going with Jorja later, so he didn't want to go twice. I don't like horses. Mike went with Stockton to the archery range while we were gone.

Maysen and I then went tubing down the river. It was fun, but I was so cold when we were finished. Mike took Jorja to go horse riding. They wouldn't let her go. You have to be eight, and she doesn't turn eight until October. Shannon had asked someone if they could go, but that person wasn't there when Mike and Jorja and Weston showed up. Too bad.

After dinner, we went and watched fireworks over Otter Creek. They were pretty good for the middle of nowhere Utah. Preston fell asleep during them. At least he got to see a few ad thought they were pretty.

Now it is late and we are tired. It has been a fun trip. I was really worried about it. Let's just say Mike is a fan of Sudafed, Benedryl and Claritin. His allergies were pretty bad today, but at least he was able to function and participate in all the activities he wanted to. And now it is time for bed.
