Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a pretty low-key Thanksgiving. Yesterday I made cranberry sauce and banana cream pies, so today I just needed to make the rolls. I made them while I talked to Stockton. I talked to him for almost FIVE hours! It was the best! Some wonderful ward members picked Stockton and Elder Kelly up and shared their Thanksgiving dinner with them. That made me so happy!

We had Thanksgiving dinner at Steve and Shannon's house. It was our family, Steve's family, Shannon's mom and two nieces. Erica and their nephew Max were on the computer for a bit talking to their families from the mission field. I didn't take many pictures, but I love this picture of Jorja and Weston. They look so much alike here! Weston does look like Waldo though...must be the hat.

The only other picture I got was of Preston. His belly was poking up a little, so I pulled his shirt down before I snapped the picture. Preston was too fast for me and pulled it up ridiculously high. Weirdo.

We played games after dinner until it was time to go to Frozen 2. We met Sherry and her family there. Only got to connect with them for a second, but at least it was something! Maysen spent Thanksgiving in Logan. I hope she was happy. She's not a fan of big meals.

The Medlock's sent me this picture tonight and made me so happy! After dinner Stockton and Elder Kelly helped the Medlock's set up their Christmas tree. (I have a hard time referring to Stockton as Elder Smith.....so I'm not going to worry about it. He will always be Stockton to me.)

Stockton Videos

Jorja got to go to an elementary school for PLT today. She missed on Wednesday, so she was pretty excited to go today. It was her first time. This morning she couldn't find her PLT jersey anywhere. She had it yesterday for the yearbook picture, but could not find it. She was so sad and embarrassed. She went to school and checked the field house (where the pictures were taken) and she checked the lost and found in the office. It wasn't there. She was panicking. I checked my car, her bedroom and then the guest room. I knelt down to pray, stood up and two seconds later found her jersey. It was in her backpack. She had checked there, but it was in the backpack sleeve part. Anyway, I was able to get it to her before she needed it. Thank heavens!

Jorja had a great time at the school. They had a bit of time before their next class, so they went to Einsteins Bagels. Jorja had a cookie and half a bagel. She got so sick. She started texting me in physics class that she thought she was going to throw up. She was begging me to let her come home. So, she missed Chinese again. Jorja came home, took medicine and fell right asleep. She slept for three hours before I got her up so she could go to work. After work she had a sleepover with the student government girls. I know she checked out of school and then I let her go to a sleepover, but that is how things worked out today.

Maysen came down today. She is here for Preston's birthday on Sunday and he is so happy about that.

I was randomly texted videos of Stockton and it was AWESOME! I love getting things like this! Stockton looks so happy. He has always been great with kids. I love him!

Pretty Blue Eyed Girl

I got to talk to Stockton today!!! He is in another bike area, but this area is crazy big. It takes them two hours to bike to one of the ward meeting houses they are supposed to go to. Both Elder Kelly and Stockton got flat tires on a road where they had no cell service. Stockton said his brake exploded too. I asked him, again, if he wanted to get another bike. He said he only uses one brake anyway, so it should be fine. Haha. Both Stockton and Elder Kelly are new to this area, so they are trying their best to figure things out. I was on the phone with Stockton when they were looking up to see how far away their dinner appointment was. 45 minutes to bike. Which is google maps minutes, it would take them an hour at least. Luckily they texted the family and were able to get them to pick them up. This is going to be interesting. Stockton and Elder Kelly are also coming in here after Sister Missionaries have been here. They said their mission book was the worst! They labeled people as 'Pretty Blue Eyed Girl' and 'House Across from the Horses'. Hahaha. Made me laugh.

Heather and I met up with Jordyn at her new house! It was the first time we were able to see it, and it is adorable!!! It was super quick to be there, but worth it. Man do I wish Heather was coming on this trip, but it will be SO fun to have Jordyn there!
