National Parks

The boys had a great time at the cabin. John brought a new game called Bunny Kingdom. Mike ordered the game before they even finished playing. They spent the time playing games and sledding until John had to go home. Super nice of him to come for one night.

My new butter dish came. Bear destroyed my old one. I wasn't happy. We got this for our wedding and I love it. I don't know why Bear likes butter so much.

Jorja had a full day. She went to Riley's stake activity. It was a MTC. Kind of an all day event where you go around and learn different things. Riley said it wasn't as cool as other years. Jorja was put in an English class, so that probably isn't as fun. If you are in a different language class you learn a few phrases and a scripture in that language. Jorja and Riley also had tickets to The National Parks. Jorja loves that band and was so excited to go to a concert again. She had a great time.

Stockton & John

Mike and I cleaned up and came home early this morning. It was pretty easy to get out of there and we made great time getting home. Stockton was able to hang out with his friend John today. They hadn't seen each other since their missions, I think. Stockton and John came over shortly after we got home. We taught John how to play Dominion. Stockton's excited because John is going to come up to the cabin with him in a few weeks. Glad these guys are friends.

New Years Day

John and Cassie and their family started their long three day drive home. We were all watching them out the window talking about how cute they looked with their entire family on the 4-wheeler. I choked and didn't get a picture until they were too far away. This past week has been so much fun.

We had fun with Brett's family on their last day here. Going to miss this life! What a perfect week! Also, I found a million selfies of Jorja and Eve on her cell phone. Looks like they were making different faces. Those two are so adorable. Looks like they bonded quite nicely.

Stockton was able to call for a half an hour today. He found out around 5:00 tonight. We got to talk to him and he sounds happier than he did on Christmas. Too bad he didn't get to call on my birthday! It was great to talk to him today though. Sure love that boy and can't wait until February 3rd!!!!!

Day One

First full day at the cabin! Woohoo! Today was so fun. It consisted of family, sledding, games and food. Haha. Matt and Sam are staying at Steve and Sharon's cabin so they can socially distance. Their kids are at high risk for corona. We are able to meet them outside though. Matt and John were outside almost the entire day. John was freezing at the end of the day and kept shivering under a giant blanket. Jorja came outside and skied, snowboarded and sled. She was out for a long time and a lot of fun. I couldn't convince Maysen or Preston to come out today though. I skied with Jorja a few times. I don't think I have ever skied on this hill, and I haven't skied in several years. Quick skiing hill, but still fun. Debie came over and brought banana bread and Grandma Parry's Rice Krispie treats. She calls them scotch-a-roos. They were delicious. I made Taco Haystacks for dinner. Brett and Rachel got here tonight. Not in time for sledding. I'm so glad they were able to get here safely. It snowed all day long. The roads were perfect yesterday, so I was a bit worried about today with all the snow. Terry and Tyler came over to say hi tonight. It was great! I loved it. Mike and I with our kids and Brett and Rachel stayed up late playing Jackbox. That was so much fun. I am looking forward to this week. It's going to be great!
