Jorja was sick today and I had to get her from school. Her plan was to just sleep through history and lunch and then come back to take her math quiz. That didn't work out, she couldn't get up. She did go back to school after it was over to film the GSIA club. She then went and looked for the flag with Kelsey. They had no luck, even though they looked a ton of places.
The world changed today. I dropped off a jar of apple cider to Burke Jr. for his birthday. I was talking to Burke Sr. for a bit and came home to find out that Rudy Gobert has been diagnosed with the coronavirus. Shortly after that happened the NBA suspended the entire season. WHAT??? So crazy! Maysen texted that the high stakes bingo game she was planning on going to with Me'lani got cancelled. All on campus events at Utah State have been cancelled until April 8th. Wow.
Jorja had work today, but got sent home because she was sick. Her immune system has not fully recovered since having mono last year. If she is a little sick her body has trouble functioning. Kelsey came over today and brought Jorja chocolate covered raspberries and sour patch watermelon. She gave her a note that thanked her for being such a good friend. That was so nice! The stereotypical version of the head cheerleader is they are very unkind. Definitely not the case at Alta!
Mike and Jorja finished her poster for her campaign. They don't get any signs this year because of the construction. Each candidate gets one poster. Jorja sent hers to Packer for approval. She might tweak things before it becomes official. She didn't like the picture very much. I think it's adorable.
