Fish in the Pond

Stockton got to go back to diving today!  Yay!  I wanted to take Preston with me, but I thought I would take him later in the week.  That way Stockton could get resettled before Preston came with.  Josh's mom dropped the boys off.  I went a bit early to pick them up so I could watch.  There were a ton of kids there!  I was a little confused.  Are this many people now taking diving.  Plus, a lot of them were little.  As I walked closer, I started recognizing them.  I found out that they were having the diving party.  What?  Preston should have been here.  I had no idea.  I didn't receive an e-mail or a text.  It's frustrating because I rarely receive any communication from the swim/dive team.  They always send information to my old e-mail that I have no access to, even though I've put my new e-mail on forms.  I've also circled my new e-mail and said, "This is new.  I will not get any information at the other address."  This year has been better, but I don't know what happened today.  Preston loves going off the boards, I feel bad he missed out on this.

Mike had his first day at work in three weeks.  He enjoyed being back.  I'm glad he loves his job.  I'm glad he was able to take enough time off that we could have this vacation.  He came home from work and took Jorja to the pet store.  They got fish for the frog pond.  We can't find any frogs right now.  I wonder where they wondered off to.  We have seen a couple tadpoles.  Hopefully they'll become frogs and decide to stay.  There are a lot of bugs in the pond right now.  Mike got fish to eat the bugs. The kids were quite happy with that.

Sick Little Preston

This morning I noticed I had a text from Jorja.  Rose has a phone, so Jorja texts me every night.  Judging by the time I receive those texts, she has been staying up pretty late.  I'm always asleep before they come.  Anyway, she asked me to bring her a blanket and sunburn lotion.  Stockton texted me this morning and told me that every time he sees Jorja she seems to be having a really good time.  I'm so glad!

I got up just in time to see Preston run to the bathroom so he could throw up.  With Stockton and Jorja gone, Preston has been sleeping in the guest room.  I was glad he was close to us.  Preston threw up all day long.  He was quite miserable.  I needed to go to BYU for Jorja.  Mike wasn't able to come home from work.  He had meetings and is a little worried about leaving work for three weeks.  Preston said he would be okay if the tablet was working.  I couldn't get it to work, but I was able to download Geometry Dash on Maysen's iPad Mini.  Preston was really happy with that and said he would be fine while I was gone.  I'm glad he is growing up, but sad about it at the same time.

First I stopped and picked up Maysen from Covenant.  Maysen and I went and found Jorja.  She wanted the blanket because she has been cold at night.  It was great to see her, even if it was only for a minute.

I was glad to get back to Preston.  He spent his time while I was gone playing Geometry Dash and throwing up.  Poor little guy.  I did manage to beat Stereo Madness (the first level).  Stockton will be proud.

I got this picture from Stockton.  He says he is in the back.  Josh is the one taking the picture.  Still not what I was looking for.

Mike went and got a haircut and a tetanus shot today.  Maysen is happy with him.  His little girl still has him wrapped around her finger.

Lame Pictures

Stockton thinks he is hilarious.  He knows he owes me pictures.  Today he sent me two.  Lovely.

Mike has been spending a lot of time working on a frog pond.  He's hoping to finish it before we leave on our trip on Friday.  Yikes! Maysen has been after him to get a tetanus shot.  He hurt himself ripping out a tree.  A thorn on a branch stuck into his leg about an inch. Mike doesn't think he needs one.  Maysen is worried he might die without one.  She says he probably won't, but he might as well take away that chance! I'm not sure who is going to win this battle, but my guess is Maysen.
