Lost Lock

Maysen lost the lock on her gym locker. She thinks she must have left it open, which is weird because it has never been left opened before. Luckily it was on Friday, so none of her gym clothes were taken, but her strap (for a heart monitor thing) that she needs to wear everyday was missing.

Today Preston and I met Maysen after school. Our plan was to look on the back of every lock to see if we could find hers. Maysen's lock was number 1121. We were also looking in every empty locker to see if some joker put it in there. There are four locker areas. Maysen is in the 2nd area, but we planned to check them all. As we were checking we would say things like, "Oh man! This is 1211, only one number off!" After about fifteen minutes we hear Preston say, "If only this one didn't have a 0 in front!" Maysen asked him if she could see it. Sure enough, it was her lock. It was in the 4th area put inside a random locker. We didn't find her strap, so she will have to buy another one. At least we found the lock so she won't have to pay for it at the end of the year. Preston was a hero!
