Closet Bunk Beds

Mike and Bubs spent the entire day making closet bunk beds.  They did the wood stuff, Sam cut the pads so they would fit.  The bunk beds turned out great!  The kids love them!  They got them almost all of the way finished.  The guard rail didn't get finished on the middle bunks, and the bunks will need to be sanded and stained.  But, they are usable right now.  The kids were excited to try them out last night.

Jorja and Anne were twinners today, so I insisted on a picture.

The only problem is the kids were laughing and woke up Anne who was on the other side of the wall in the 'baby' room.  Not sure how well the baby room will function with the new closet bunk beds.  We'll figure it out though.  Mike and I slept in the bed next to the bunk beds.  The kids were great.  I was worried I would have to be up various times during the night dealing with the kids, but they slept clear through. Luckily Bubs had Millie sleep downstairs.  She didn't sleep at all.  I don't think Bubs has ever gotten a good night sleep at the cabin since Millie has been born.
