Conference at the Cabin

We were excited to watch conference at the cabin today.  Mike bought an antenna that he thought would get us the right channel.  We know Steve and Sharon are able to get conference at their cabin.  Anyway, it did not work.  We were able to listen to conference though, and that ended up being just fine.  We were excited to hear Elder Rasband called.  Mike and I went to school with his daughter.  He moved out of our stake last year to be closer to Salt Lake.  Wise move.

Terry and Debie came to say hello, that was unexpected and fun.  Mike and I went and returned the trailer.  The place where we returned it was also a consignment shop.  The dog behind me was gigantic!  He doesn't look so big in this picture.  Mike wants to bring the kids back here.

Mike had fun working on various projects around the cabin.  Here is his playing with electricity.  He made it so the outlet can't be turned off by the light switch, and also so he can turn on the outside flood light with his phone.

After the priesthood session we walked over to Steve and Sharon's cabin.  The fancy new cabin that is being built had giant water puddles in front of it.  I'm glad we brought flashlights!  That wouldn't have been a fun surprise!  Lauren was there with Ellen.  Derek and Kendra were there with Evelyn and Paisley.  Kendra's sister was there with her husband.  I think their names are Marquee and Brett.  They have a little girl whose name is Jora, I think.  Anyway, the kids had a great time playing with them.  Jorja started her own little rock band.

Uncle Steve gave us a ride back to the cabin.  That was nice.  Preston and Mike had fun turning on the flood light.  It's the little things.
