Jorja's a Missionary!

Welp, Jorja is an official missionary. The stake presidency came over and set her apart tonight. My dad was up here too. They had everyone go around and say something to Jorja. My dad told about the time on his mission when he was asked to seal a blessing and he had no idea how to do it. How Heavenly Father helped him and how he knew he wasn't alone and Heavenly Father would help his inadequacies. Mike talked to her about going all in and serving 100% with her might, mind and soul. The counselor in the stake presidency told her that he knows her as sunshine and goodness. When the stake president was setting her apart he gave her many blessings. He blessed her with courage and strength, peace of mind, opportunity to grow her faith and testimony and ability to show love for others. He blessed her with patience with herself and her companions, tenacity with learning the language, ability to conquer and to never give up, the ability to communicate, to develop greater love of the scriptures and doctrines of the gospel, and the gift of remembering things needed to teach the gospel. He told her she already had many gifts of personality, cheerfulness and kindness. He blessed her that she would be able to magnify those gifts, that people will be drawn to her because of the light in her eyes and smile. He blessed her with the ability to handle hardship and homesickness and regular sickness, He blessed her with the strength to carry on, to not only survive, but thrive. He blessed her that her mission would be a marvelous foundational experience for her entire life. ........ Wow! I'm so excited for her, but I am going to miss her terribly. So proud of this little girl of mine. She is amazing!

Random story... Jorja is THE WORST about throwing away her contacts. She will just take them out of her eyes and flip them to who knows where. I am always after her about finding her contacts on the ground. Well, today I found one stuck on the car! What the heck? I am going to miss random reminders of her though.
