This is not an April fools joke, but Quacky Chan died today. It was sad. Mike saw it happen. The ducks were all swimming on the swimming pool cover. (There is a lot of water on it now.) Quacky Chan got out, walked toward our door and started spazzing out, then fell over dead. Mike said it was almost like you would see in a cartoon. He immediately ran out there, but there was nothing he could do. We are so lucky Mike saw it or we would be going insane trying to figure out what happened to our completely healthy duck. Mike has been working in the computer room. He had a video conference call at 1:30. Jorja had a zoom meeting for her Chinese class at the same time. Mike decided to do the call from the kitchen table. Where he ended up witnessing our duck die. Mike and Maysen searched the Internet to figure out what might have happened. They think it was this virus that attacks within 24 hours and there is no cure. Nothing you can do. All of the symptoms were spot on. It is carried by wild ducks. We have had wild ducks fly into our yard for the past few weeks. I hope the other ducks don't get sick. I'm not sure what we can do about it though. It was really sad when Preston came up to Quacky. He patted him, then kind of picked him up and tried to shake him awake. Mike buried him in the back yard in the duck pen. Sad day.
We decided to get rid of our fooseball table. Mike's sister Lisa gave this to us before they moved. We needed more room downstairs and I knew Heather wanted one. So, I texted her and she and Josh were more than happy to come down to get it. Mike and I took it apart so they could get it in their car.

Stephanie showing Heather Jorja's Taylor Swift video. Social distancing style.
Heather and Josh had to take apart the table even more. I came out on the grass to talk with Heather while they were doing it. I stayed far away. It was soooo nice to see her!
Heather sent me this picture. It looks so good and has much more room! Yay!
I think it found a good home.
