Ducks on the Waterfall

Stockton went to a missionary farewell this morning. Jorja went to Aiden's farewell around noon. I told Jorja to make sure she said hi to my dad, since he is in Aiden's ward. Too bad he was sick and missed church. Mike, Maysen, Preston and I went to church this morning. Bear dog doesn't like being alone. He woke up Jorja with his crybaby howling. She recorded a bit of it. He didn't howl very long in this recording, but this was one hour after we left for church. Still at the door. Man that dog loves Mike.

The rest of the day was fun and relaxing. Jorja made a hot dog bar dinner with Mike. We watched ducks climb the waterfall. We watched a church movie about Africa that was pretty cool, and Jorja officially finished Step2theU. Pretty great day. Now some random pictures.

Jorja was pretty excited. She texted me that they are allowing students to go to the home game tonight. They are only letting 100 students in. She asked if I could get her a ticket when they go on sale at 3:00. I didn't have to do that though because Packer got Jorja a ticket. That was nice! Jorja had plans to go to Chuck-E-Cheese with Aiden. They changed that plan when they found out about the football game. Jorja said it was pretty weird with everyone spaced out. Definitely not the same. What a crazy year this is!

Preston made pizza rolls for dinner. They were delicious. He did such a great job. Wish I would have taken a picture of him. He was adorable.

Timeline

I got to talk to Stockton today! He finished the Book of Mormon again last night. This time through the Book of Mormon he decided to make a timeline. It is huge! I talked to Stockton while the Jazz game one playoff game was on mute. It was fun to watch the game and listen to Stockton. Although I was so confused when Mitchell was called for a back court violation. Ahhhh! Mitchell was amazing and scored 57 points. Too bad they lost in overtime. Stockton had to leave when it was time for him to play games with his companions and other missionaries. They were playing the Apples to Apples missionary edition Stockton has been making. Stockton said they have played it a few times and he loves it! He is so close to finishing all the cards he wanted to. When he started this months ago, his companion told him there was no way he could finish/think of that many things. Challenge accepted.

Jorja watched the game with her friends at Dallen's house. They ended up staying there for a loooong time. Jorja and Aiden had planned on going to Chuck-E-Cheese, but they stayed at Dallen's too long they didn't have time to do that anymore. I think they just ended watching some movie. Like the Muppet Movie, or something like that. Anyway, I got these pictures off of Jorja's phone.

Poker Night

Jorja had a long day. She was gone from the time she got up until midnight. She loved it though. Jorja helped Dawson film all the different classes for the welcome video. She filmed, went to lunch with Luke Vickery, back to filming, got Swig with Janelle and her car died, back to filming, painted with Janelle, last minute Poker date....

Jorja was so excited for her lunch with Luke. He was the financial chair last year. He brought LOTS of things for Jorja. Things that have been passed down to the financial chairs for years. He had a flash drive that he told Jorja was the most helpful thing to him. They also had a financial chair book where the financial chairs for the last ten years have written things that have worked for the fundraiser, advice and hijinks they got up to. Jorja is so excited to have this information and to be able to dive into trying to pull off a fundraiser during the crazy corona.

Jorja finished up filming with Dawson. Her car broke down twice in the Swig drive thru, then once again on the street. She pulled into a 7-11 and called me. She left it there and they got a ride back to school. Mike and I drove down to get it. Mike drove it home. He said it was super hot, but seemed to be doing okay. Hopefully it is fine.

Jorja and Janelle spent a lot of time scraping last years theme off of the windows and painting this years theme

While they were painting, Jorja got some text messages from Aiden and Lucas. Both had asked her if she was busy tonight. Aiden started typing, but then Lucas called her. Lucas asked her if she wanted to dress up and go to poker night at Bode's house. After saying yes, she saw Aiden's text asking her to the same thing. Jorja told Aiden that she just said yes to Lucas and asked him if he wanted to ask Janelle. He didn't. He said he has never even talked to her. Jorja told him that Janelle and Lucas are best friends, maybe he could call and ask Lucas if he would take Janelle instead. So, that is what ended up happening. Jorja called me to pick her up, since she had no car. We hurried home, but Aiden had already stopped by. He told Mike he would come back. Jorja threw on a dress, put on some jewelry and fancier makeup and was ready to go... paint stained legs and all. She had such a fun time and loved the spontaneity of the date.

Climbing Rocks

Jorja went rock climbing with her friend Lucas today. She said it was so scary! She has never been rock climbing outdoors before, and it has been years since she has done it indoors too. She said it was a lot of fun though.

After rock climbing she went to the Alta/Bingham lacrosse game. She saw Ivan there and was able to talk to him for about fifteen minutes. She was happy about that. She went with her friends to In-N-Out and then they came here. There was a lot of them! Bode, Kelsey, Aiden, Ella, Gabby, Leah, Elle and a lot more. I can't remember everyone and there were some I didn't recognize. Jorja was in heaven. They loved all of Mike's magic things around the house. They played Jackbox until it was time to go. Today was a good day for Jorja.
