Lagoon

Mike and Jorja got back at about 7:00 this morning. Mike parked at the church. He wanted to get a different car to pull the boat up our driveway. The hitch on the motorhome scraped when he left. I wish our driveway wasn't a hill. I took Bear on a walk to the church. I ran into President and Sister Back. They were asking about Stockton. We talked for a bit. Mike heard us and came walking towards us. Bear went crazy when he saw him. I let go of his leash and he ran so fast to Mike, his little stump tail wagging like nothing else.

Jorja had a blind date today. Her friend Ella set her up with a boy named Jackson. They went to Lagoon together. She didn't see Lincoln there. That would have been fun!

Jorja got home around 9:00 at night. We spent some time working on masks. We are hoping to finish Brett, Matt and John's family by tomorrow. Matt is moving tomorrow and my Dad is going to visit Brett and John. Hope they like them!

Boat is Ours

Welp, Mike bought the boat. He got the money transferred over this morning and went and picked it up. They drove home all day today. Jorja was able to do her zoom classes. Online classes are amazing. Mike hoped to make it home today, but wasn't able to. They stopped and slept at a rest area in Idaho.

Maysen, Preston and I ran errands today. First, we dropped Maysen's phone off at Bad Apple. They had fixed her broken screen, but now the vibrator doesn't work. I'm glad we brought it back because they were able to fix it. Second stop was the dog park. Bear loved it. There were so many dogs that looked just like him.

Third, Maysen and I went into Joanne's. I was hoping to find Utah Jazz fabric, but they were out. Fourth, Maysen and I went into Best Buy and bought her a new charging cord for her Crome laptop. Finally, fifth, Preston and I went into Handle's for ice-cream. We got stuff for us and right as I was about to pay I saw a Frosty Paws item. I asked about it. It was a treat for dogs, so we decided to get it. Bear LOVED it. He licked the thing clean!

As You Wish

I got up pretty early with Bear. We went outside and played with his blue and red balls. The ducks looked like they wanted somewhere to swim, so I opened the pool for them. We also had a lot of cinder blocks and cement delivered today. They are for the new duck pond. We felt bad having them delivered on a Sunday, but we weren't able to change the date. Preston also learned how to make bacon this morning and it was adorable.

Mike texted me a picture of Overlake hospital. This is where Maysen and Stockton were born. He drove right past it. Then he sent me a text that said, "Passed our old exit. Love you. Thanks for sharing your life with me." Awwww. I am so lucky. Mike is the best.

Mike and Jorja made it to Camano Island today. That is where the boat Mike wanted was. An older couple bought it a few years ago and never used it. The only time they were on it was for the test drive. They had bought a beach house in Washington and thought the boat would be fun, but it was a little scary for them and they never used it. The live in California and today was the only day that Mike would be able to look at it. So, even though it was a Sunday, that is what they did. The name of the boat is As You Wish. Mike loved it and decided he wanted to buy it. No idea if he will change the name or not. The boat is a Macgregor and Mike has been looking at them for over five years. It is a motorboat and sailboat. Not the best motorboat, not the best sailboat, but a little bit of each. Mike has always wanted a sailboat. Hope this turns out well for us. I'm a little nervous.

Jorja came with Mike to keep him company and because she wanted to hang out with a friend Tate. She met him at EFY last year. Tate picked Jorja up at the hotel and brought his friend Khush with him. Jorja and Khush hit it off. She had a great time.

The plan was for them to go to Lake Washington. When they left Jorja was supposed to text Mike and let him know where she was going. Jorja is so bad at doing this. I laughed when I saw Mike's text to her.

Anyway, Jorja had a great time. I am glad she was able to meet up with these guys and she found a new friend. Jorja loves to collect friends.

Daddy Daughter Road Trip

Mike and Jorja left this morning to head to Washington to look at a boat. He drove the motorhome. I woke up Jorja from her sleepover and she dragged herself to the motorhome. At least she was able to catch up on her sleep on the drive up! Jorja's friends were still asleep when she left. They knew that would happen though, so it wasn't weird. Mike and Jorja made it to Yakama Washington today.

Scoop and Cori stopped by to give Maysen a graduation present. That was really nice. They were here for awhile, but I didn't get any pictures. The only picture I have for today is one of Bear trying to get a rat. Talk about exciting!

Girls Sleepover

Jorja hung out with JJ and Ian today. They are in student government and will be sophomores next year. Jorja is doing a girl student government thing today and they helped her get ready. She also had an art project due, so they tie dyed shirts with her in the backyard. I didn't get pictures of that, but they seemed to have a lot of fun. They went to Handles for ice-cream after.

Jorja had so much fun tonight. They had a girls night for student government. She had activities planned all night long. I don't think they got any sleep. I know they went to a lookout point, went to a Waffle place in the middle of the night, watched the sunrise on our roof, crashed in Stockton's room. I should have taken a picture of the set up in there!

Trying to Catch Up

The problem with being behind (once again) is the days all run together. When I get behind I rely on the calendar and text messages. Well, with everyone being home we don't text. Except Jorja. That is why all the posts seem to be about her... anyway, today she hung out with Ivan. They got frozen yogurt and went and hung out with some of his friends. Jorja felt kind of awkward and was so thankful one of her friends happened to be there as well!

I did remember one story. Stockton called today. He actually met his new mission president! They had been playing kickball with the youth near the mission office. As they were walking back to their apartment they noticed lights were on. Stockton joked that it would be funny if the new mission president was there. Well, there was a car in the parking lot. Stockton looked toward it as he walked by and there was President Grisel sitting in there with his wife. Stockton waved and President Grisel got out to talk with him. Stockton was the first missionary in the entire mission besides the APs to meet the mission president. Pretty cool.

Bubs was texting me today asking if we would like a snowsuit we let them use years ago. It was Maysen's purple one. He had the jacket and he is looking for the pants. It was my favorite. I love this picture of Mike and Maysen. They had just gone down the sled hill and Maysen was dazed.

Jorja and I went shopping today. We finally got her snow tires off! Yay! We had fun at the book store. Jorja hates to read, but she loves self help books. We found a couple for her. She wants to start a girls student government book club. Probably a leadership book for that. She is amazing.

Jorja had a triple date tonight. She took Brenton, Ella took Aiden and Grace took Lucas. They went to Pizza Limone and went and saw a drive in movie. Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Jorja and Brenton have been friends for years. They have been pretty close recently. She is thrilled to be a student body officer with him.
