MTC

Today was hard. We kept the kids home from school. We really could have sent them and checked them out. Jorja missed an AP test, so that would have been the best option. Whoops. Mike and Stockton spent all morning packing. We had most of the things gathered, but we hadn't put it together yet. Surprisingly it takes a really long time to pack for two years. Eventually it was time to go. We FaceTimed Maysen before we left. She was able to say goodbye to Stockton before she left for class.
Preston, Stockton, Jorja ~ leaving home
The kids were funny the entire way down to Provo. They sang songs. Funny songs. I put lots of them on here because they make me happy. Although my two favorite were too long to put on here. Rainbow Connection in Kermit the Frogs voice and a Waluigi song to the tune of Hallelujah in Waluigi's voice. Oh man. Those were great. I'm going to miss watching these kids interact with each other.
Weird song about Minecraft
Pokemon Go song
Rectangle ~ song from their childhood
Another song from their childhood about a duck
Weird Peppa Pig song
Once we made it to Provo we went to eat at Sizzler. Because Stockton was going into the MTC today, he was free! Nice. This is the only picture I managed to get there though.

All too soon we were at the Provo Temple to say our goodbye's to Stockton. I can't believe it is time to let him go already. This is hard. So, so, so, so hard.

Blurry picture, but there is my baby walking away from us for two years
Jorja and I have matching cactus bracelets
We will now be all things cactus all the time. It is fun to have something to symbolize where Stockton is. Jorja and I went to Alta after school was out to talk to her theater teacher. She had to turn in her Region and State permission slip. Jorja tried out last week and made it, but she was feeling nervous about how she was going to do it. She has been so fatigued it is crazy. When we went to talk to Strux, she looked right at Jorja and asked her if this was the right thing for her. If she could handle it. She knew she had been sick and said, 'I miss happy Jorja. She has been gone for so long.' I told Strux that I talked to the counselor today (on the way to the MTC) about transferring Jorja out of Theater because she was worried she couldn't handle both. Strux told her she would rather her stay in the theater class and they would find someone to take her place. What a huge relief this was for Jorja. What a blessing!
