Choose Your Own Date

Jorja spent the morning with Riley. They wanted to go see a sunrise somewhere in American Fork I think. Then they hung out until Riley had to go to work in the afternoon. Right as Jorja was leaving Riley got a phone call. He was on the call for about ten minutes. Jorja felt awkward about leaving without saying goodbye, so she waited. Riley told her it was his stake president. Riley's call has been decided, but the country he is assigned to only allows missionaries to enter quarterly, or something like that. Riley can either leave July 15 or sometime in October. They are letting Riley make the decision. Weird!

Preston had to take a RISE test at school. I think it was an English test. It took longer than I thought. He texted me when he was done and I hurried down and picked him up. We then went to Firehouse Subs. Preston was a fan.

Not a Coffin

The other day I peaked in Stockton's room and saw him sleeping like this. It made me laugh because he looked like he was in a coffin. I would not be laughing if he was in a real coffin.

Today was a good day. I had a meeting about AP proctoring at the school. I saw Jorja right before she went to get her first covid vaccine shot. She signed up to do it at school and will be going with Sami. Hope she is okay! Also, it is always fun to see this....

Jorja's Graduation Pictures

Jorja got her senior pictures taken today. Maysen really wanted to get graduation pictures and announcements last year, but we never got it done. The world was so crazy back then. Jorja scheduled pictures with her friend Mia and has been working on figuring out the announcements herself. Those kind of things are not my talent. Jorja's pictures turned out really cute. I picked my favorites from the different clothes to put first, then there are a whole bunch of really cute pictures. I can't believe Jorja is almost done with high school. I'm going to miss her.

Speaking Chinese in Australia

Jorja had made plans to get her senior pictures taken with Mia today. Too bad it rained. They are going to try again tomorrow. Jack came over today until it was time for Preston to go play dodgeball for young mens. Jorja had two friends get mission calls today. Someone named Cody is going to Bolivia. Our neighbor Luke Johnson got his call. He was in Jorja's Chinese class in elementary school. He got called to Australia Mandarin speaking. What? Jorja is so excited for him! In not as amazing news.... Stockton cracked the top 1000 for Dominion.

Programming Among Us

Stockton slept most of the day. We opted to have family night on Thursday this week because we knew Stockton would be exhausted and Jorja had a ballroom concert to go to. Preston was asked to come up with a combined activity. He immediately started working on an Among Us game. He programed most of it before he called Bryce and pitched his idea. He's pretty excited about it. Preston also had a test at Alta. Jorja took him out to lunch afterwords. He wanted to pick up pizza with her. She brought him home and she was able to do her Chinese online. That worked out well. It's also Jorja's 18 1/2 birthday. I thought about getting her a cake because I thought it would make her laugh. I decided not to because she would be getting home late after the ballroom concert, and most likely would go somewhere after the concert. I wish I would have because she mentioned that no one said anything about her half birthday. Whoops. (She doesn't expect people to know it, but it would have made her happy if they noticed.)

Long Drive

Jorja made steaks tonight for dinner and did a great job. Stockton started driving back from Arizona. They left at 1:00 in the afternoon, I think. Stockton arrived at our house at 4:00 in the morning. Spencer White drove the entire way again. I'm so glad they didn't crash! I tried to get Spencer to stay and sleep at our house, but he wanted to make it back to Logan, just to say he did it. That's crazy. So glad Stockton is home safe and sound.

Boys at Bdubs

 Jorja and Lily went back to the cat lounge today. Lots of cleaning. Also... just noticed my pictures went in the wrong order again.... so my post will be out of order today. Jorja had a girl student government sleepover. They dressed up like boys and went to Bdubs. (Buffalo Wild Wings) They tried to go bowling but that plan didn't work out. They all slept in Stockton's room. Sounded like they had a great time.
