Jorja submitted her essay for the Smith family scholarship late last night. She got a message from Brent asking her to fill out a few things and submit the essay as a word document instead of a pdf. Jorja is coming home from Oregon and wasn't able to work on it easily, especially with her computer crashing on her randomly. I was able to find the things she needed and she was able to submit the rest from her phone. Luckily Preston helped me and did some magic to get the essay in the right form easily. That kid! He's awesome. I was hoping Jorja would be able to get an earlier flight home. Most of their group was leaving at 7 in the morning and Jorja and Riley's flight wasn't until 7 at night. They all had to go to the airport at the same time. I told Jorja to just ask to see if there were any seats on the other flight. Well, Riley didn't get one of his bags in the car so after the hour drive to the airport they had to turn around and go back. Jorja and Riley took a bus and went around Portland until it was time to fly home. I was hoping Jorja would get back earlier because the Smith family chicken party was tonight. It would have been great if she could have come. We were there about an hour and a half and left early because the bishop was coming over. Also I wanted to watch game 5. I was so sad the Jazz lost. They looked terrible that game. Donovan looked really hurt. Then the bishop didn't show up. Mike checked the message again and realized he had the day wrong. The bishop is coming tomorrow! Whoops! Too bad Mike is going to the cabin tomorrow. So, we had to change the appointment for the second time. Mike told the kids he was giving them lessons on how to get out of a calling. Hahaha. The bishop wasn't coming over for a calling, he is just meeting with the ward since he is new. New to being a bishop and he also moved in during corona, so he really doesn't know many people at all.
