Jorja had to be at work at 10:00. She was scheduled to work until 5, but then was on call after that. Meaning she might have to stay longer. Jorja thought she might have to stay an hour. Then we were planning on filming more for her election video. She texted me when she was almost done and said she had to stay until 9:00. That is eleven hours. She wasn't too happy about this entire situation. What the heck? Luckily she had a nice manager that let her take her break. Jorja had to be there at 10:00 for a team leader meeting. Usually those meetings count as your break. If she had a different manager, they could have not let her take a break and made her work eleven hours straight. She is also working thirteen hours on Monday. They didn't schedule her that much, but she is covering for someone. She says it will be different because she will be mentally prepared for that. I hope she can keep up with her school work through all of this. She has covered so many people's shifts this last week.
