Prom Dress

Today is late start for Jorja, but she went early to go to the official student body officer election meeting. They had to sign up for what they wanted to run for and she signed up for Financial Chair. She has really wanted this position because they are in charge of the Make-a-Wish fundraiser, and she has loved the fundraiser the most of anything she has done in student government. She would be absolutely fantastic and is super qualified. Right now she is only running against one person named Jordan. Ahhhh! Good luck Jorja!

Jorja stayed after school to go to the Alta/Corner Canyon softball game. When she came back we went prom dress shopping. She really wanted a pale yellow dress, but we haven't been having any luck online. Well, we found this one. It looks great on her and I love that it has a back! Soooo many dresses don't have much of a back and I don't like that at all. I should have taken my own picture, but this is the only one I have. I'm not sure if we'll need to get it hemmed though. It's also kind of tight at the top of her neck, maybe we can get that altered just a bit. Jorja really wanted a prom dress she could keep and one that she loved. The junior class officers are in charge of prom and she will need to be on the stage a lot. She's very happy with this one.

Packer hid a flag and gave the student government kids clues to find it. Jorja became convinced it was hidden on the track. One of the clues was 'the end is always the beginning.' Anyway, she went down there LATE to look around. She parked her bug at the church and walked to the school so she could be sneaky. The church isn't incredibly close. I was nervous because it was super late and she was walking around alone in the dark. She ended up searching everywhere outside, looking in sand pits etc. An administrator saw her and told her she needed to go home. She didn't find the flag, but said she had a ton of fun. Whatever makes you happy Porge!
