Jorja had her "homecoming" today. She had a fantastic time. They went bowling for the day date. I waited for as long as I could, so I could be there when Riley picked her up, but he took so long. I had to go pick up Jorja's boutonniere and a few things Jorja wanted for the dance. I wanted to get back to the second session of conference, which is why I was in such a rush. Jorja and I watched the first session together, that was nice.

Jorja came back in time to listen to Uchtdorf's talk. How's that for timing! Madison came over and did Jorja's hair. Jorja loved getting ready with her. Jorja looked so beautiful!

They went downtown to take pictures, then went out to eat at some Italian place down there. After they went to Luke's house for the dance. He has a gym in his house. The boys had decorated it with stars. The theme would have been A Sky Full of Stars - Coldplay. Nice that the boys used the original theme to decorate. In the middle of the dance Luke took the microphone and asked Jorja and Riley to come to the front. Jorja was a little nervous because she didn't know what was happening. They announced them as the Homecoming King and Queen. Granted that this was only a handful of kids, but still it made Jorja really happy. Because she is in student government, she wouldn't have even been allowed to be considered for Homecoming Queen. They had Jorja and Riley dance first and then all the other couples joined in. That was really nice of them to do and something Jorja will always remember. I think after the dance they just played games at Luke's house. I let Jorja stay out until about 1:00. We were getting up at 5:00 to drive to Idaho, so that was the absolute latest I could handle.
