Camille's Wedding

Brett and Rachel and their family left this morning for their two day drive back to Ohio. Man I'm going to miss those guys. This week was the best and I am so thankful no one got sick. Not even a little bit. I prayed and prayed and prayed for weeks leading up to this cabin trip that we would all stay healthy. I was kind of rude and would say, "You took our mom away, we NEED this trip. Don't let anyone get sick. You owe us that!" Hahaha - just kidding... except I'm not. I'm usually nice during prayers, I promise! Anyway, so thankful that we were all able to be around each other and that we stayed healthy.

Grace loved watching Preston play Minecraft

Found this picture in Brett's stuff:
Stephanie, Mom, Dad, Bubs, Brett ~ it was Brett's blessing day
More pictures of Jorja and Eve. They are adorable.
Bear does not like it when people are on the 4-wheelers. Especially Mike. Look at all his nose marks on the window!
I brought up a giant bin of stuff for Brett. Three scrapbooks and a ton of pictures that were just loose. Brett had them out of the bin and was taking them to his car along with more of their stuff. On his way back he found the scrapbooks and pictures in the snow. We tried getting all the snow off, but some of them are ruined. So sad!

There they go!
Our plan was to stay until tomorrow. My cousin's daughter Camille got married today. I wanted to stop by her reception. We were planning on going to Idaho Falls and going to an escape room, a Japanese restaurant and Camille's reception then coming back to the cabin. I started worrying that it would be too long for Bear to be alone up here. Then we talked about how we were adding essentially three hours onto our trip. So, we decided shortly after Brett left that we should go home today too. We spent the rest of the day packing and cleaning. The kids helped a lot. Especially the girls. The new plan was to go to the restaurant and then the reception. I started worrying we would run out of time. It takes forever to get out of the cabin, especially after a week long stay. (Worth it though!) Anyway, we had two cars so Maysen and I left around 5:00 to go to Camille's reception. We had to drive slow and barely made it before it was over. Especially since we drove to the wrong red barn first. Camille had her reception in the Red Barn and it was beautiful! Maysen told me she always thought it would be cool to have a wedding in a barn, but knew she would never be able to because Mike is so allergic. Well, there was no hey in sight. Too bad I didn't take a picture. Anyway, Maysen and I stopped by real quick. Said hi to Camille and Rozie. Got a chance to talk to Debie and Savannah. Ate cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate and headed back to Utah. The roads were great the rest of the way home and we arrived around 11:00.

Mike, Jorja and Preston all wanted to go to the restaurant, so they stayed until everything was done. They got their food to go and arrived home a bit after we did. Christmas vacation is over. It sure was a great one!
