Christmas in Whoville

Our ward had a Whoville Christmas party. It was so much fun. All the Whos down in Whoville liked it a lot. I only got a few pictures taken while we were setting up. When the party started, I was WAY to busy. Mike and I were in charge of the donut shop. It was a big hit! We made homemade donuts. Our customers were able to pick what they wanted in/around/on their donut. We had chocolate, vanilla and lemon pudding (for cream centers). The toppings were powdered sugar, frosting, or cinnamon & sugar. We had a constant stream of people in line for our tasty treats. Maysen spent most of her time helping in the shop. She loved it. Her favorite was when the customer would ask her to make the donut of her choice for them.

Jorja loves it!

What more could they want?

Of course, the sock rink was a huge hit. There were also other shops in Whoville. There was a pet shop. A hair salon. A photography studio. A post office. A craft store. We got our picture taken with the Grinch. I'll post that picture when we get it. After everyone had a chance to look around Whoville and eat dinner, they had a reading of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Brother Doan was dressed like the Grinch. He was so funny. The entire story I could feel Stockton laughing. They finished the night with musical numbers and a Christmas/Nativity movie. When that was done, we were allowed to go into the Relief Society room for "pie heaven".
