Principal's Award

Every once in awhile, when I go to wake up Jorja I find that Stockton has slept in her room. Preston has been sleeping in Maysen's bed. I laughed because Stockton's head was all the way off the mattress on the floor. How can he sleep like that?

I supervised an AP World History test. It went pretty well. Jorja had to stay after school for her NHS interview. They made it super hard this year. So many of her service hours got rejected. It made her more determined to get them done. She wanted to wear the yellow shawl thing at graduation. She was a bit worried about it, but she did it! She is good! Tonight was also the Principal's Award Night. Jorja got a plaque for earning a 3.9. She also got her hawk medallion and a medal for Step2theU. Stockton's year this program was so long. This time when it came to the to medals they read the kids names and they stood up in place and put their own medal on. Stockton's year everyone came up front and it took forever. Much better this way. The medals were on the student's chairs when they arrived. It was assigned seating.

I wanted a picture with Jorja after. She would not take off her mask while she was on the stage. But then she took off the mask to get a picture with Riley when his mom asked her to. Little annoyed by that. Anyway, we stayed after a bit to get pictures with a few of Jorja's friends and let her socialize. We took Ella to her grandparents house and then met Riley and his parents at Leatherbys.

I wanted a picture of both of us kissing Jorja on her cheeks.
Mike seriously pushed her out of the way! Don't worry, I dodged him for that.
